Cement effect tile

Why choose cement-effect ceramic tiles

Microcement and polished concrete are demanding materials: they require specialized application, curing, periodic sealing, and are sensitive to cracking and staining. Cement-effect ceramic tiles reproduce that same visual language with far superior technical performance:

● Non-porous surface: it does not absorb oils, wine, or coffee, and requires no sealing or periodic treatments.

● Resistance to wear and abrasion: it retains its original tone in high-traffic areas.

● Color stability: it does not change tone or yellow with sun exposure.

● Conventional installation: it does not depend on a specialized applicator or on curing times on site.

● Aesthetic continuity: it reproduces the uniform, mineral appearance of concrete, with a visually continuous and homogeneous surface, especially in large-format sizes.

Tones and finishes

White cement-effect tile is the brightest interpretation of this family and works especially well in compact spaces or those with little natural light. In matte white cement-effect tile, the absence of shine reinforces the mineral character and avoids reflections, which is why it is often the choice in professional projects.

Beige cement-effect tile provides the warm alternative, closer to shuttered concrete in sand tones, and pairs with wood and brass without the coldness associated with grey.

The range expands with colored cements, from soft, powdery tones to trend colors such as green, cobalt, or sage, as well as deeper shades like deep black. This variety makes it possible to create more expressive environments without losing the mineral character of cement. The collection is completed with natural, smooth, textured, or satin finishes and with large-format series that promote greater visual continuity.

Applications of cement-effect tiles

Cement-effect tiles solve the entire project, both horizontally and vertically:

● Cement-effect ceramic flooring: flooring for homes, retail premises, or offices, with the resistance required for continuous traffic.

● Cement-effect bathroom tiles: walls and wet areas, where the non-porous surface is an advantage over microcement.

● Kitchen: fronts, full-height walls, and countertops, unifying the whole with a single design.

● Retail, offices, and public spaces: the urban look stands up well to intensive use and conveys contemporary character without overwhelming the space.

● Exterior and façade: in the series available with a slip-resistant version, it allows the same language to be extended to the porch or terrace.

Frequently Asked Questions

The visual finish is comparable, but ceramic does not crack, does not require sealing, and is installed using conventional methods. Microcement requires a specialized applicator, curing, and periodic maintenance.

Yes. Several series are available in floor and wall versions, and even as countertops, allowing complete visual continuity within the same project.

Natural and smooth finishes are the most common in high-traffic areas due to their balance between cleanliness and durability. For outdoor use or damp areas, it is necessary to use the non-slip versions.
