The old port area of Pasaia is reborn as a public square thanks to Grespania's technical porcelain, ideal for its resistance and contemporary aesthetics.
Certified resistance
The new Pasaia Port Market Square, located on the side of the market building, had until now been a port area and, therefore, its access was limited.
The town has 3,000 m², paved with technical porcelain from the Lyon series and with 20mm thick Patagonia porcelain, which form a plaza for public use and which is also crowned with a stand for holding social and cultural events.
Homogeneous structure
Technical porcelain is a high-density, compact and unglazed ceramic material, manufactured with selected raw materials and fired at more than 1,200°C. Colored throughout its mass and completely vitrified, any abrasion reveals a surface identical to the original.
This ensures exceptional resistance to wear, deep abrasion, frost and chemicals. Ideal for high-traffic floors, it offers durability, low maintenance and aesthetic continuity over time.
Extra resistance
With Grespania's 20 mm porcelain tile, extra resistance is achieved for demanding outdoor spaces. Its thickness provides high resistance to breakage, impacts and adverse weather conditions, such as frost or thermal changes.
Its non-slip surface and natural aesthetics make it perfect for terraces, gardens, swimming pools or areas with intensive traffic. In addition, it allows different types of installation: dry, raised or traditional, easily adapting to each project and environment.
