GRESPANIA AT COVERINGS 2018

Grespania will once again have a presence at this year’s Coverings Show in Atlanta from 8th until 11th May —North America’s largest ceramic tile and flooring event.

Those visiting the Grespania stand located in the Spanish Pavilion (stand 3119), can discover all the latest collections with products specifically inspired by the tastes of the American market.

MARMÓREA, REDISCOVERING MARBLE.

A style sure to be on-trend this year is the Updated Classic, in which marble is a key element. Thanks to its high-tech production process, Grespania offers a novel interpretation of this material with a wide range of marble porcelain tiles (Carrara, Estatuario, Marquina, Pulpis and Hermes).

Marble remains a favourite of interior designers and architects for use in kitchens and bathrooms.
Polished and natural finishes are the ones that work best with all decorative styles, from the more traditional to the most cutting edge.

Among the preferred looks, the greenish and brown marbles stand out. The Pulpis and Hermes ceramic marble tiles are perfect for a natural style or rooms with a vintage touch.

Marquina helps to create elegant spaces with a contemporary, sophisticated feel, especially with golden decorative pieces offset by Carrara or Estatuario, materials that bring light and serenity.

The Marmórea collection is complemented by a wide-ranging series of special mesh-mounted pieces—ideal for bathrooms and kitchen backsplashes, or to partly or entirely decorate a wall—which are very popular in the North American market.

When it comes to wall tiles, 31 x 100 cm white-body ceramic tiles are available in Marquina, Estatuario, Carrara and Pulpis tones. These are complemented with a series of decorative pieces that make the walls a focal point, with the pieces Friso and Naos creating genuinely creative canvases incorporating delicate geometric effects in metal. Prenaos feature marked relief, while Fidias is a piece of modern marquetry mixing marble and wood. Going back to the updated classic style, the decorative pieces Dintel and Capitel provide a totally new take on old-style mosaics.

Small-format tiles are making an unstoppable comeback, playing a key role in many interior design projects. Accordingly, the Marmórea collection is also available in 20x60 format, with the entire range of Marmórea colours available in this format.
In addition, thanks to the pre-cut Pórtico piece, it’s now possible to create much smaller format walls, calling to mind the classic "Subway" tiles that have lately become so fashionable. This look is a simple design but involves a very time-consuming installation; the Pórtico piece effectively resolves this drawback, making it highly sought after by interior design professionals.

RIOJA, A DIFFERENT TAKE ON WOOD.

Tapping into the prominent vintage trend in interior design, Grespania will launch the all - new Rioja porcelain tile series. Thanks to its extensive colour palette, potential uses range from strongly industrial spaces (with the colours Navy, Anthracite or Black) to more romantic, shabby-chic style environments (with White, Grey or Camel tones) that are currently all the rage.
A very prevalent trend this season is experimenting with wood in its most natural state, to create floors or even walls with worn or stripped-down effects.

Rioja is available in two rectified formats of 19x120 and 14.5x120, and an unrectified 15x80 format. All have a subtle relief that helps enhance the naturalness of the material.
