The Grespania Group conquers the American market at Coverings 2019

The new collections presented in Orlando have exceeded all expectations.

As usual, the Grespania Group was an exhibitor at Coverings, the preeminent professional ceramics trade fair in the United States. The event, which was celebrating its 30th anniversary, acknowledged the Grespania Group's participation and loyalty over all these years. Coverings changes location every year, and this year returned to Orlando (Florida) for its 2019 edition, held from 9th-12th April. More than 1,000 exhibitors converge on this fair, where they welcome 26,000 visitors each year. As such, Coverings is one of the most important meeting points for the world's ceramics sector and a source of great success for the Grespania Group.

The Grespania Group presented all its new products at a completely upgraded 163m2 stand located within the Spanish Pavilion. There, attendees could see two of its most exclusive brands, Grespania and Coverlam. Most notable among the wide range of innovative products on show for visitors to discover, were the new large-format Coverlam series, along with new wall tile and ceramic tile collections.


With the Tívoli series, Grespania has expanded its range of porcelain tiles inspired by semi-precious stones. The design for Tívoli is based on agate, a natural stone that has been prized since ancient times for its beauty and strength.

The Tívoli series seeks to evoke a classic style without any loss of modernity; it is firmly in line with current trends.

This series is designed in various shades: white, pearl, beige and walnut. Thanks to the directional graphics and colour variation, each piece looks like a precious stone.
Available in two finishes, natural and polished, and in a wide variety of formats ranging from the large-format 60x120 to the 60x60 and 30x60 formats, this series can be used to create multifaceted compositions, endowing rooms with character and cachet.

Annapurna, the innate elegance of natural materials

Annapurna, a series developed in technical porcelain and inspired by a matte-finish slate with subtle relief, comes in five rectified formats: 60x120 cm y 80x80 cm, 30x60 cm, 14,5x60 cm y 10x60 cm. It is also available in three natural, restrained colours (Grey, Anthracite and Black)

Understated but versatile, Annapurna can adapt flawlessly to both contemporary spaces and rustic-style environments, and thanks to the 20mm-thick 80x80 cm format, it allows for aesthetic continuity between interiors and exteriors.


Sajonia is the new series of wood-look porcelain from Grespania, which, thanks to an advanced production technology, is impeccably natural-looking. It is a multiformat series available in 19.5x120 cm and 14.5x120 cm rectified, and five natural tones (Ash, Walnut, Maple, Cherry and Oak).
Together with the 80x80 cm piece Home and piece Chevron, it responds to the considerable demand for floors and walls entirely decorated with geometric motifs through large-scale marquetry designs. The elegant panelling of yesteryear is very much on trend this year.

Rooms are filled with warmth, inviting you to bask in their convivial atmosphere. Authenticity is back in force.


The Astra White series of wall tiles in 45x120 cm brings a very modern and completely original vision of Pele de Tigre marble, a marble of Portuguese origin with a white background and bluish-grey veining.
This product offers great possibilities in interior design. Its decorative pieces, the geometric reliefs Manhattan and Lexington, help to break up the traditional flatness of wall tiles. Manhattan is also available in Gold finish, where a delicate metallic lattice emphasizes the contour of the relief. In addition, there is the decorative tile Chrysler, which adds a refined and elegant touch to the marble, a very striking combination of materials in interior design.


Featuring prominently in the Grespania Group stand, the brand that specializes in large-format Coverlam has presented several of its latest collections on American soil. Among the new additions to the catalogue on show at Coverings were Coverlam Coralina and Coverlam Moma, merging with the stand and covering its exterior walls. Moreover, the marble-effect collections of Coverlam Nero Ardi, Coverlam Carrara, and especially Coverlam Estatuario Book, really captured the attention of American brand advocates, who were interested to see the range of products in the catalogue available in this format.
